POWER ON AND UNLOCK YOUR IPHONE.

PRESS THE HOME BUTTON AT THE BOTTOM OF YOUR DEVICE. This should, in many cases, take you back to the set of default apps that came pre-installed with your device.

TAP THE SETTINGS APP.

SCROLL DOWN UNTIL YOU SEE THE LISTING "MAIL, CONTACTS, CALENDARS" COME UP ONSCREEN.

TAP THAT CHOICE.

TAP THE "SUBSCRIBED CALENDARS" OPTION.

SELECT THE CALENDAR YOU\'D LIKE TO REMOVE.

SCROLL UP UNTIL YOU SEE THE BUTTON FOR DELETING THE CALENDAR IN QUESTION CALLED "DELETE ACCOUNT".

TAP THE "DELETE ACCOUNT" BUTTON.

CONFIRM THAT YOU\'D LIKE TO PERMANENTLY DELETE THIS CALENDAR.

TAP THE "DELETE ACCOUNT" BUTTON ONCE MORE TO CONFIRM.

You can also change the items description or title and/or remove the alarm/reminder to the items contained within it.
Within the calendar account, you can also make the calendar inactive, but still keep it on the device for future reference.
