How to Install the Augmented Reality Monocle Easter Egg for the Yelp for iPhone App

Are you a Yelp member but are finding it impossible to more places to find nearby to your location? Did you realize there is a hidden Easter egg in the iPhone app? It's a monocle for Augmented Reality. It'll display all business's that have listings on Yelp that you can review or grab the information for.

STEPS

INSTALL THE YELP FOR IPHONE APP.

LOGIN TO YELP ON YOUR DEVICE.

TRY TO LOCATE THE "NEARBY" SECTION OF THE APP. Tap the button from the black bar at the bottom of the app screen called "Nearby", to activate this feature.

SHAKE THE DEVICE THREE TIMES.
Don't go wild, shaking the device. It should only take a few light shakes to convince the device that you've shook it.

WAIT FOR A CONFIRMATION BUTTON TO POP-UP.

TAP THE "OK" CONFIRMATION BUTTON, WHEN THE BUTTON POPS UP TELLING YOU "THE MONOCLE IS ACTIVATED. Yelp thought reality was boring, so we augmented it. Look for the button in the upper right corner.

TIPS
If you haven't updated the Yelp app since May 2009, it's time you ought to [Update an App from the App Store on an iPhone|Update that app from the device]] or through iTunes. It won't work any other way.
After being installed, use your iPhone's camera and scan around an area of public concern where there are some business' nearby (and have 3G access) to try this feature out.
This guide may also work on other smartphones.
WARNINGS
No matter how many times you shake your iPod touch, this feature is not available on an iPod touch, despite the same operating system it runs on, the camera and GPS qualifications.
