How to Take a Self Portrait on the iPhone

With the use of its front-facing camera, the iPhone (4th generation and later) is a great device you can use to take a self-portrait. These steps also apply to the iPad 2 and later/iPod touch 4th generation and later.
STEPS

GO TO YOUR IPHONE\'S HOME SCREEN. To get there, press on the round button beneath the display.

LOOK FOR THE CAMERA ICON THAT RESEMBLES A CAMERA LENS. Tap on it to open the application.

TAP ON THE CAMERA TOGGLE ICON AT THE TOP FAR RIGHT OF THE SCREEN. This will enable you to switch between the rear and forward facing cameras. You want to be using the forward facing camera, so that you are in the picture.

POSE FOR YOUR PHOTO. Tap the icon of the camera in a circle to take your photo.

TIPS
To view your self-portrait, return to the home screen and tap the Photos icon. Your photo will be the most recent entry in the Camera Roll album.
